Role: Postdoctoral scientist specializing in developing Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) models within Lilly's PKPD group. Objectives: create AI-powered mechanistic models integrating biological, pharmacological, and clinical data to inform drug discovery and development decisions. Responsibilities: design and implement ODE-based QSP models, perform parameter estimation and simulations, generate translational insights on dosing and risk stratification, communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams, and author scientific publications. Qualifications: PhD in quantitative pharmacology, systems biology, or related field; experience in ODE-based QSP or PKPD modeling; proficiency in R, MATLAB, Python, NONMEM, or Monolix; experience with virtual populations and model analysis. Preferred: knowledge of immunology, PK/PD, drug discovery, AI/ML integration, and a strong publication record. HighValue: focus on biologics, peptides, or immuno-oncology; experience with preclinical and clinical data; model application in early to late-stage development; fixed-term (2-year) role with potential extension; US work authorization required. Collaboration: work alongside cross-functional teams and mentors; present at scientific conferences.
