Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic literature, regulatory, and database searches to compile relevant preclinical and clinical data for model design/parameterization.
- Design and implement ODE-based QSP model structures capturing drug PK, target/receptor biology, and cellular/physiological dynamics.
- Perform parameter estimation, model simulations, and model analysis to support discovery/development programs in a timely manner.
- Use validated models to generate quantitative insights for dosing strategies, risk stratification, and translational/clinical development questions.
- Communicate modeling results to technical and non-technical audiences; collaborate cross-functionally.
- Maintain documentation of model development.
- Present findings at scientific conferences (e.g., ACoP, PAGE, ASCPT).
- Author peer-reviewed scientific articles.

Basic Qualifications
- PhD in quantitative pharmacology, systems biology, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, or related field.
- Experience developing QSP/mechanistic PKPD or ODE-based biological system models.
- Experience developing virtual patient populations.
- Proficiency in R, Matlab/Simbiology, Python, NONMEM, Monolix, or related modeling software.
- Experience with parameter estimation and sensitivity analysis.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas.
