QSP postdoctoral scientist

Role: Postdoctoral scientist specializing in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) within Lilly's global PKPD group, focused on developing AI-powered mechanistic models to inform drug discovery and development decisions. Responsibilities: design and implement ODE-based QSP models integrating pharmacokinetics, biology, and clinical data; perform parameter estimation, simulations, and analyses; generate insights for dosing and risk stratification; communicate results across scientific audiences; document model development; present at conferences and publish peer-reviewed articles. Requirements: PhD in quantitative pharmacology, systems biology, biomedical engineering, or related field; experience with QSP or mechanistic PKPD modeling, virtual patient development; proficiency in R, Matlab/Simbiology, Python, NONMEM, Monolix; skills in parameter estimation and sensitivity analysis; authorized to work in the US. Preferred: knowledge of immunology, PK/PD, drug discovery; interest in AI/ML tools; strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; track record of publications.
