QC Tech II

Role Summary

QC Tech II performs test methods as written to support product and material release. Maintains a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements. Understands, implements and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems. Performs a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained and supports investigations. Revises procedures as necessary and collaborates with the department to accomplish business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Performs test methods as written to support product/material release.
• Maintains a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Understands, implements and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Performs a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained.
• Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks as committed. Works with others to maintain a positive atmosphere to accomplish business objectives.
• Revises procedures as necessary and provides support for department.
• Supports investigations.
• Will effectively perform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained with minimal error.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma with 5+ years of combined experience in Manufacturing, QA, QC, R&D in pharmaceutical or biologics industry.
• Maintains their certifications as needed for assigned job tasks.
