Role: Analytical Chemist responsible for in-process and finished product testing of injectable pharmaceuticals at GE HealthCare's QC lab. Objectives include ensuring product quality and compliance through analytical testing and investigations. Responsibilities encompass performing tests with HPLC, FTIR, ICP-OES, UV/VIS, liquid scintillation, and gamma spectrometry; tracking data; supporting validation projects; and contributing to process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field; proficiency with relevant software; ability to work night shift (Sunday-Wednesday, 3:00 AM - 1:30 PM); and physical ability to lift 25 lbs. Preferred skills include Waters Empower experience, expertise with HPLC, ICP, UV/Vis, FTIR, working with radioactive materials, and visual inspection experience. High-value specifics: focus on radiopharmaceuticals or contrast media, regulatory compliance within FDA-regulated environment, GxP adherence, and experience with analytical instrumentation. Collaboration and reporting are implied within QC functions; work setup is on-site with night shifts; occasional weekend work required.
