The Role & What You Will Be Doing Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here’s how the QA Officer role will make an impact: The QA Officer provides substantial support to the QA team Supervisor in all matters related to GDP processes and product quality for Viatris Belgium. The QA Officer gives general administrative support to the QA team Supervisor. Prepare the release for distribution of the BELUX batches for all Viatris products by collecting all necessary information from suppliers, performing final screenings of documents and interacting with external warehouse. Initiate premarket supply incidents (PMSIs) and CAPA’s linked to administrative release. Prepare draft SOPs which are part of the QMS. Follow-up and maintain QMS in line with GxP, legislation, guidelines and global Viatris policies. Assist in the implementation of self-inspections and follow up of corrective actions. Review of returned goods, ensure traceability of the batches, provide support for recalls. Provide support linked to the distribution of medical samples. Responsible for the transmission of quality complaints and adverse events to the person responsible and local representative for Pharmacovigilance within 24 hours via e-mail or telephone. About Your Skills & Experience For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences: Scientific background (Pharmacist, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical Laboratory Assistant …) is an asset 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar job or working environment is a plus Experience in working with SAP and TrackWise is an advantage Fluent in English with a good working knowledge of Dutch or French. Excellent interpersonal skills to assist in liaison with other departments within/outside the group to support quality requirements Problem solving: Good written and oral communication Hands-on mentality Strong sense of responsibility Capable to adapt in a fast-moving environment and able to deal with tight deadlines Excellent organization and project management skills Be able to work autonomously.
