Position Summary
The Bend West 10 Barrel Brewing Co. Pub Manager will coordinate and oversee all daily shifts. The Pub Manager manages people and ensures a high-quality experience for patrons and employees. The Shift Manager may act as a GM in his/her absence and assist in sales/cost analysis, performance management, food quality, customer satisfaction, and cleanliness/sanitation.
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure guests feel welcomed upon arrival and throughout their experience.
- Serve food at a high quality and ensure recipes are followed.
- Ensure employees are properly trained so cleanliness and sanitation are consistently achieved.
- Control cash and other receipts by following company policies and procedures.
- Determine staffing levels and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
- Complete relevant paperwork in a timely manner (reports, forms, invoices, etc.).
Skills and Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
- Sound analytical skills (mathematics, organization, etc.).
- Ability to manage people in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in office software including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to create and maintain a high-quality working environment.
- Ability to deal tactfully with difficult customers.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Equivalent to high school graduation and three years of food and beverage/restaurant experience.
- Restaurant management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily standing and sitting; frequent standing, walking, bending/stooping, and light lifting.
- Ability to use kitchen appliances and office machines.
