Role: PST Specialist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and ensuring accurate data entry in a diagnostic laboratory setting. Objectives include providing high-quality patient service, performing venipuncture/capillary collections, and handling specimens for various tests such as drug screens and paternity analyses. Responsibilities encompass specimen preparation, maintaining logs, processing billing, and administrative duties, with travel to additional sites as needed.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, preferably including pediatrics; proven customer service skills, strong communication, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and passing a color blindness test.
Preferred: Additional experience in pediatric collections.
High-value specifics: Diagnostic testing focus, specimen collection for diverse patient groups, and potential eligibility for quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. The role involves working Monday to Friday, with flexibility for overtime and travel.
