Role: Phlebotomist providing specimen collection and customer service in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: perform blood draws via venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, collect various specimens, accurately document patient info, process specimens, and handle billing and administrative tasks. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, certification or training in phlebotomy, or 3+ months of experience; strong customer service and communication skills; reliable transportation; ability to work independently and pass color blindness test. Preferred: 6+ months experience. HighValue: clinical laboratory, specimen collection, patient interaction, data entry, and billing; working in a healthcare diagnostics environment. Work setup: onsite in Clinton, MD, with scheduled hours Monday-Friday 6:30 am-3:00 pm and alternating Saturdays; flexibility for overtime and minimal travel.
