Role: Director, Project Toxicologist within AstraZeneca's Oncology Targeted Delivery Safety team, specializing in novel targeted oncology therapies such as radioconjugates, ADCs, and small molecules. Responsibilities: lead toxicology strategies including designing and overseeing regulatory and investigative programs, supporting development decisions through safety risk assessment, advancing safety science via innovative approaches like organ-on-chip and omics, and contributing to regulatory submissions. Engage in external collaborations, provide scientific leadership, and support team development. Requirements: PhD, DABT, or advanced degree in toxicology, pharmacology, or related field with at least 10 years of experience in project, investigative, or regulatory toxicology within pharma, biotech, or CRO sectors. Oncology expertise required, with preferred experience in radioconjugates or ADCs. Skills in translational safety tools and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
