Project Manager, Technical Operations
About the Role
Lead cross-functional project execution and ensure successful delivery of Technical Operations initiatives from early development through readiness for registration and filing; drive project execution, facilitate alignment across functions, and ensure operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead cross-functional project teams (Insmed and external partners)
- Ensure alignment across Manufacturing, Analytical Development, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory (with input from Commercial, Research, Clinical)
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks; develop contingencies; escalate key issues
- Facilitate communication across project teams and stakeholders
- Track deliverables and provide timely reporting
- Represent Technical Operations in governance meetings
- Support continuous improvement of project management tools, processes, and metrics
- Partner to enhance tool use and drive operational efficiency
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- ~5+ years of project management experience in pharma, medical device, or related industry
- Influence outcomes without direct authority; hold teams accountable
- Experience in cross-functional, high-performing teams
- Leadership in fast-paced environments; excellent communication/collaboration
- Working knowledge across product lifecycle (Research, Preclinical, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, QA)
- Ability to work in highly regulated environments
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong technical/computer skills (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; web-based tools)
Nice to Have (not required)
- PMP certification
Where You’ll Work
Hybrid (Bridgewater, NJ office); remote most of the time; in-person as needed.
Pay Range
$124,000.00–161,000.00 annual
