The R&D Project Manager ensures the smooth running of international research and development activities for an international team.
Responsibilities:
- Build project plans to forecast resource requirements across R&D activities.
- Manage stage gate activities by coordinating gate packs with input from involved functions and ensuring timely, cohesive delivery.
- Monitor and report research project activities, tracking deliverables and timelines across the portfolio.
- Advise on progress against development timelines, reporting requirements, and milestone payments.
- Hold regular update meetings for project teams and R&D leadership.
- Support Pipeline Review meetings to manage the Telix pipeline and report status of key research projects.
Role details:
- Remote position with extensive interaction across Australia, the USA, Europe, Japan, and other international locations; some domestic/international travel may be expected.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in life sciences (pharmacology, biochemistry, or chemistry preferred).
- Training/qualification in project management or business administration.
- 5+ yearsβ project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
- Demonstrated application of project management principles and tools.
- Strong understanding of the drug development industry and commercial environment.
- Proven expertise in managing projects, timelines, budgets, and internal/external stakeholder coordination.
