Project Manager, Operations

Purpose
- Identify opportunities to reduce operating cost and cycle time and increase efficiency; lead projects to achieve these savings.
- Improve organizational capability by training and mentoring personnel on Business Excellence tools; provide mentoring and leadership to Sponsors and kaizen candidates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project coordination, communication, and execution; set and manage stakeholder expectations; develop project plans to deliver within budget, scope, and schedule; provide oversight and guidance to achieve deliverables.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate analysis of opportunities and risks; identify impacts and recommendations to the business or manufacturing site.
- Lead and align project direction while managing stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Execute Logistics Software Systems (LSS) project management process, tools, and templates.
- Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality, and cost objectives.
- Support and motivate teams to ensure timely, successful project delivery.
- Provide training and coaching to sponsors and Kaizen leaders, if needed.

Qualifications
- 6–10 years business experience, including at least 1 year LSS experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferred: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management).
- Accredited LSS Green Belt or Kaizen Leader Certification required; PMP preferred.
- Financial acumen; ability to assess project ROI.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills.
