Leads Projects related to New Product Introductions (NPI) and New Business Opportunities from AbbVie’s pipeline or from Third Party Customers. Leads and manages front end planning, due diligence, and technical feasibility assessments. Customer-facing; responsible for all aspects of NPI programs up to handover to site manufacturing and support teams.

Work with Research and Development, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Central MS&T, Engineering, Commercial, and Brand Teams/Franchise to translate opportunities into feasibility plans (Business Cases).

Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of NPI projects: strategic decisions, stakeholder management, scheduling, meetings, budget, communication, supplier/customer management
- Lead and manage a team of 5–8 project managers
- Provide technical input shaping strategies for front end planning, due diligence, and feasibility assessments
- Set and lead NPI site program strategy; run stage-and-gate meetings and timelines
- Work with Site Senior Management on project development plan and governance deliverables; lead Governance Board meetings
- Build SMEs and key stakeholders to maintain New Product Development Technology Strategy
- Matrix manage site operations personnel executing NPI projects
- Develop charters, timelines, and program-specific project/risk management plans; ensure appropriate escalation
- Develop and assess cost/resource projections; serve as point of contact
- Ensure consistency and compliance across NPI programs; oversee on-time delivery of deliverables

Qualifications:
- Minimum B.S. in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years total Pharmaceutical Industry experience
- 3+ years technical transfer and new product launch experience in pharmaceutical manufacture; manage large complex programs and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of drug development and pharmaceutical manufacturing process
- Knowledge of Quality and Supply Chain Systems
- Proven experience leading teams as a Project and Technical Transfer manager
- Proficient in project management, including budget, finance, cost accounting, and team management
