Role Summary

Project Manager, Marketing - Oncology. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at the Mettawa location 3 days per week. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop, execute, and manage assigned projects within budget and compliant with standards, driving multiple initiatives to mature technologies, tools, and data infrastructures for the Oncology BUโ€™s rapid growth.

Responsibilities

  • PROJECT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT โ€“ Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Co-create and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in partnership with stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; oversee coordination to ensure adherence.
  • Provide operational guidance, identify opportunities to improve processes, gain efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate project meetings, set objectives, track action items, and maintain proactive communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Track and report on project metrics and KPIs; develop tracking tools and visuals.
  • Oversee budget allocation, procurement, and vendor management for key initiatives; ensure accountable budget usage and approvals.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies and escalate as needed.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement across executives, sponsors, end users, and cross-functional contributors.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards throughout execution.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and summarize learnings to refine processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required; 5-8 years of relevant project or program management experience.
  • PMP certification or specialized training in program management/facilitation preferred.
  • Knowledge of oncology therapeutic and commercial operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with contracting, regulatory, quality, business systems, software deployment, training development, communications and media, SharePoint design/administration, and project management tools.
  • Fluency in data, technology (CRM), and analytics systems to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing technology transformations, sales/marketing enablement, analytics programs, and CRM platforms preferred.
  • Ability to lead without authority and operate autonomously in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and enable collaboration to achieve results.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; strong critical thinking and process-improvement capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to build stakeholder buy-in.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and internet tools; Smartsheet proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
