Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Management: Lead and manage teams to deliver large programs of at least $600MM USD or more in capital assets, safely achieving project objectives from front-end planning (conceptual design) through operational qualification (cradle to grave), including safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Interface/Communication: Lead from a regional distance; maintain communication with GFD leadership, project team, governance teams, business partners, and stakeholders. Coordinate utility tie-ins, capacity allocations, and handoff sequencing (including cold storage refrigeration loads and ASRS power/controls) to support shipping/receiving, labs, material management, and ASRS commissioning/qualification milestones. Resolve issues and anticipate scope changes.
- Compliance: Use a disciplined, structured project management approach aligned with Company Policies and Procedures.
- Safety/Environment: Develop/maintain safety and environmental execution plans and ensure compliance from conceptual design through operational verification.

Minimum Requirements
- BS in Engineering or a technical related field (project management, construction management).
- 10+ years capital project delivery experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities (preferably leading multiple/>$250MM projects).
- Experience managing greenfield projects.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel outside home state/country.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. full-time (no visa sponsorship).

Additional Preferences
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP experience; LEAN; automation and MHE integration; construction/construction quality; project controls; engineering disciplines; safety; scheduling.
- Experience with Warehouse/Logistics Centers (ASRS), GMP cold storage, sample/QC labs, and material management for raw materials and finished API.
- PMP, PE (or equivalent), foreign language competency, and continuous improvement mindset.

Additional Information
- Likely travel 15%–30% (domestic/international) including weekends; full relocation to Richmond, VA; onsite required (not remote).
