Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Management: Lead and manage teams delivering large capital asset programs ($600MM USD+) through front-end planning (conceptual design) to operational qualification (cradle to grave), ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Interface/Communication: Lead remotely while maintaining communication with leadership, governance, business partners, and stakeholders; coordinate utility tie-ins, capacity allocations, and handoff sequencing to support shipping/receiving, sample lab, cold storage, material management, and ASRS commissioning/qualification.
- Compliance: Apply a disciplined, structured project management approach aligned to Company Policies and Procedures (role-based compliance).
- Safety/Environment: Develop and maintain safety/environment execution plans from conceptual design through operational verification.

Minimum Requirements
- BS in Engineering or technical related field.
- 10+ years capital project delivery experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities; preferably leading projects/multiple projects >$250MM.
- Experience managing greenfield projects.
- Willing to relocate and/or travel outside home state/country.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

Additional Preferences (selected)
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience; GMP, LEAN, automation/MHE integration.
- Experience with ASRS, GMP cold storage, sample/QC labs, material management.
- PMP, PE (or equivalent), foreign language competency, continuous improvement.

Additional Information/Benefits
- International travel likely (~15–30%); onsite relocation to Richmond, VA for project duration (not remote).
- Anticipated wage: $66,000–$171,600; company bonus eligible; comprehensive benefits (401(k), pension, medical/dental/vision, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off/leave, well-being).
