Role Summary

Project Lead for U.S. Commercial S-4 HANA in Vaccines, focusing on cross-functional collaboration to identify and resolve system and process challenges impacting product delivery. Drives alignment with vaccine stakeholders, oversees implementation of system enhancements, and supports strategic initiatives to improve operations and efficiency within SAP S/4 HANA for the U.S. vaccines business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an internal network that can provide key commercial support and maintain ComOps relations with global solution and incident management teams.
  • Identify system & process efficiencies for business, lead new requirements and development with global compliance, enablement & process owner teams. Lead Key User testing for business readiness, train Key Users & Leads on new functionality.
  • Work with business leaders and Key Users to prioritize and execute ComOps incident processes, system change requests, and system enhancements.
  • Drive global development and solution teams to implement timely corrective systems and process actions within agreed-upon SLAs to ensure uninterrupted commercial business.
  • Ensure strict adherence and provide end-to-end oversight of SAP S/4 HANA commercial functions, achieving 100% compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Identify cutting-edge system and process enhancements that streamline operations, elevate business performance, drive revenue, and maximize efficiencies.
  • Promote high-impact system strategies to improve customer and user experience, increase system automation, and improve efficiency and task completion times.
  • Develop deep expertise in the commercial vaccines business, processes, and systems to strengthen decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Scan external environments for innovations and process excellence; identify and integrate AI capabilities into solution delivery.
  • Co-develop and manage a ComOps User Access Management process; maintain iShift user compliance, initiate SAP training, provide system access, and manage user changes.
  • Provide status updates through biweekly/monthly touchpoints with local leaders and Key Users for system issues, fixes, and long-term solutions.
  • Lead crisis management war rooms for S/4 vaccine issues; work with crisis teams to mitigate risk and disruption.
  • Lead daily/weekly scrum calls with partners and solution teams to drive on-time solution delivery; engage with leadership on timeline-contingency plans.
  • Manage the Flu Enablement Team to resolve system barriers affecting U.S. influenza vaccine distribution.
  • Coordinate with Digital Delivery and Ecom teams for S/4-connected systems and react to S/4 crises.
  • Alert business partners of outages and plan for scheduled downtimes and upgrades; oversee post-restore testing and communications.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA required, preferably in Life Sciences, Technology, or Management
  • 5+ years of relevant commercial vaccine or pharmaceutical experience
  • 10+ years SAP commercial experience, including S/4 HANA experience
  • Formal or informal project management experience with the ability to lead and influence without authority
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to work with multi-cultural teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • Prior experience overseeing post-test communications to business partners and commercial leaders
  • Aptitude and interest in learning and optimizing technical/ITS systems
  • Travel requirements: Up to 20% domestic travel may be required

Education
