Responsibilities:
- Represent TRD on research-stage core project teams to shape project strategy and success.
- Screen and develop phase-appropriate formulations; author protocols for internal and external labs.
- Assess delivery, aggregation, stability, and developability risks; communicate issues to influence compound selection.
- Guide cross-functional teams on selection/optimization of conjugation and delivery technologies.
- Perform basic drug substance characterization (e.g., XRPD, DSC/TGA, DVS, PLM, UPLC) and assess properties such as solubility, particle size, viscosity, and chemical stability.
- Promote knowledge exchange and manage project interactions with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Advanced degree (pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or related); 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biologics development.
- Hands-on analytical methods for oligonucleotide characterization, including formulation, analytics, and developability assessment.
- Deep expertise in conjugates: conjugation chemistry, oligonucleotide delivery strategies, formulation, and preclinical development.
- Strategic mindset; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written/verbal communication; technical writing and review.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience advancing siRNA therapeutics to clinical development.
- Biologics experience supporting conjugation chemistry and delivery strategy development.
- Solid-state properties knowledge; biopharmaceutics expertise (PK/PD a plus).
- Ability to influence oligo construct design during lead optimization.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated): Salary expected $108,500–$201,500/year; performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity awards; US benefits package and time off.
