Job Summary:
- Support strategic development projects by driving financial strategy, guiding investment decisions, and ensuring accurate project forecasting.

Main Responsibilities:
- Financial responsibilities for 3 strategic projects and additional Immunology & Inflammation development collaborations.
- Manage early and late-stage development projects across multiple life-cycle indications.
- Serve as primary finance contact; provide financial insights and decision support to Global Project Heads/Teams and Finance.
- Oversee governance preparation and deliverables across global teams (TARC, DWG, IDCC).
- Drive project valuations (full cost tables, NPV, PI), investment analysis, commercial potential, competitive threats, and risk assessments.
- Prepare financial position papers and represent finance in governance meetings.
- Lead financial planning cycles (strategic plan, budget, forecasts, actuals).
- Identify financial risks/opportunities; support cost optimization.
- Consolidate clinical and non-clinical costs with cross-functional finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal control and financial/accounting principles.
- Lead alliance quarterly actual reporting and annual development budget/reforecasting (with Junior Project Finance Business Partners).
- Lead Alliance FDWG; participate in JDC, JFC, and JSC.
- Identify/mitigate contractual issues.
- Lead alliance internal/external audit activities.
- Prepare/review alliance quarterly actual reporting and monthly accruals; prepare/review alliance development budget and reforecast submissions.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree/MBA or CPA preferred; scientific background preferred.
- 10+ years relevant Finance/Accounting experience with R&D exposure.

Skills:
- Strong analytical/strategic thinking; ability to synthesize complex data into recommendations.
- Business partnering and communication skills for advising senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to coordinate/lead financial planning.
- Matrixed global, fast-paced work style; manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
