Operations
Engineering professional leader responsible for capital strategy vision and master plan development, driving the capital long-range plan program, annual capital plan management, and financial compliance. Lead engineers to implement facilities, utilities, and equipment capital projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily leadership to the Project Engineering department (personnel management, training, org structure, project management).
- Lead project strategic planning of next fiscal year capital plan.
- Administer and lead the annual site capital plan and department budget.
- Deliver capital plan last best estimates (LBE) per established finance/project accounting frequency.
- Set project priorities to achieve financial targets supporting business objectives and life cycle costs.
- Administer asset management, project lifecycle, and energy sustainability programs.
- Drive the site capital long range plan from development to submission.
- Ensure corporate policy/procedure fulfillment and compliance with EHS requirements; promote continuous improvement and consider EHS in design/change.
- Maintain engineering/commissioning documents in the Technical Library and keep CAD/drawing repositories up to date.
- Oversee capital project definition through RCE development, engineering cost estimate, design, plan integration, construction, and commissioning/qualification compliance.
- Oversee Site Master Plan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in engineering/science/related field (or equivalent experience); 10+ years significant engineering and/or operational experience; post-graduate degree desired.
- Strong biopharma engineering lead experience with consistent technical contributions; experience contributing to product/process development/improvement.
- Ability to communicate with senior management and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Competency with financial systems and fiscal control.
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Outlook), AutoCAD, SAP (and others).
- Strong technical knowledge and judgment; ability to present and advise management.
