Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage manufacturing capital projects (Lilly and Non-Lilly professionals) to safely achieve objectives from conceptual design through operational verification (cradle to grave).
- Deliver projects by managing scope, schedule, and budget; identify and mitigate risks; prioritize Safety First and Quality Always.
- Use a disciplined, structured approach to project management in compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.
- Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans; ensure compliance for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors; participate as an active member of the site safety team.
- Develop and maintain communication with project team, governance teams, business partners, and stakeholders; facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement safely with quality, speed, and value.

Basic Requirements:
- BS in Engineering or related technical field (project management, construction management).
- 5+ years’ capital project delivery experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas/work authorization.

Additional Preferences:
- Experience on projects/multiple projects > $50MM.
- Pharma/industrial capital project management experience (e.g., Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, devices).
- Manage interface risk/scope boundaries across multiple contractors; manage owner-side gating actions.
- Experience with cGMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, construction, construction quality, project controls, engineering, safety, scheduling.
- Communication skills; ability to influence through people; PE or equivalent; PMP.

Additional Information:
- Site presence at Houston location through project completion (not remote).
- Domestic travel up to 10%.
