Project Engineer/Project Manager - GFD

Role: Lead project management for manufacturing capital projects within Lilly's Global Facilities Delivery organization, focusing on safe, compliant delivery from conceptual design through operational verification. Responsibilities: manage scope, schedule, budget, risk mitigation, and safety/environmental plans; ensure compliance with company policies; facilitate stakeholder communication and issue resolution; oversee project teams including Lilly and external contractors; deliver projects in pharma manufacturing settings such as sterile products, APIs, or lab facilities, with project sizes typically >$50MM. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; 5+ years in capital project delivery in industrial or pharma manufacturing; experience managing large-scale projects, interface risk, and scope boundaries; strong communication and leadership skills; US work authorization. Preferences: PMP or PE certification; experience in cGMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation; prior international work or living experience; ability to influence without direct authority; proficiency in additional languages. High-Value: pharma manufacturing, cGMP, capital projects >$50MM, sterile or API facilities, Houston location, up to 10% domestic travel.
