Core Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct small to medium sized capital projects through the full project life cycle (scope, cost estimating, execution planning, capital expenditure requests, design, procurement, construction, cost/schedule control, commissioning, qualification, operator training, startup, and financial closeout).
- Ensure projects meet scope, cost, schedule, functional/regulatory/end-user requirements, and good engineering practice.
- Monitor progress to plan; implement corrective actions/contingencies as needed and provide regular status updates and variances.
- Lead design of process equipment, facilities, and utilities; develop equipment specifications and lead procurement/installation (including FATs and SATs).
- Support commissioning and qualification (UR/SR/FR specifications and installation/operational qualification protocols).
- Provide pilot plant technical support: troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and identify corrective actions.
- Support quality policies via engineering support of investigations and corrective actions.
- Support EHS&E goals: work safely; participate in Process Hazard Analysis and PSSRs; comply with process safety management of change; follow safety policies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with 2+ years relevant engineering and/or operational experience.
- Working technical knowledge applying concepts/practices/procedures; ability to solve moderate-scope problems and use judgment within defined procedures.
- Working knowledge of process equipment/system design, P&ID development, equipment sizing/selection, equipment specs, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Technical background in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics, or similar industries (preferred).
