Programme Director – Connectivity/Network Transformation

Position Summary
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of a global network transformation across WAN/SD-WAN, campus LAN/Wi‑Fi, cloud connectivity, security, DDI, observability, and the managed services operating model.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the global, multi-year programme (scope, milestones, dependencies, integrated plan).
- Set up programme governance (SteerCo, RAID, dependency/change control) with decision points and escalation.
- Drive cross-workstream sequencing/integration (WAN, campus, security/segmentation, DDI, observability, MSP transition).
- Own benefits tracking/value realisation (cost, SLA/performance, resilience, adoption of target standards).
- Lead MSP transition readiness/onboarding (continuity, knowledge transfer, SLAs/SLOs).
- Manage programme financials (budgeting, forecasting, variance, reporting).
- Coordinate vendors/partners (assurance, quality, delivery performance).
- Embed organisational change management (stakeholders, communications, training, adoption).
- Ensure wave-by-wave operational readiness and cutover/handover with acceptance criteria.
- Provide executive-ready reporting (risks, decisions, outcomes).

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent).
- Significant experience leading large-scale global technology programmes, with network/infrastructure transformation.
- Programme/project management certification (e.g., PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2/SAFe).
- Proven network transformation delivery (WAN/SD-WAN, LAN/Wi‑Fi, cloud connectivity, security/SASE/Zero Trust).
- Strong understanding of migration risks/dependencies (routing, DNS, IP addressing, segmentation, policy).
- Multi-vendor/managed services experience; supplier performance management.
- Outcome-based delivery mindset; executive communication; stakeholder influence.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global regulated environments.
- Familiarity with networking platforms (Juniper/Aruba/Cisco/Palo Alto).
- MSP/NaaS operating model transition experience.
- Observability/automation/telemetry-first or AI-driven operations exposure.

Location & Working Pattern
- UK (Central London) or US (Upper Providence, Pennsylvania); hybrid, typically 2–3 days onsite.
