Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs, increase efficiencies, and reduce errors. Lead Continuous Improvement events with mentoring and leadership to sponsors and participants. Structure and lead cross-function projects to address opportunities and achieve demonstrable results. Assist with training and mentoring personnel on Business Excellence tools. Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate, communicate, and execute projects. Set and manage stakeholder expectations. Develop project plans to deliver within budget, scope, and schedule. Provide oversight and guidance to achieve project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Executes data-driven analysis of opportunities and risks; quantifies impacts and recommendations to the business or manufacturing site
- Leads and aligns project direction while managing stakeholder relationships and expectations
- Executes and manages improvement projects leveraging Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools
- Identifies and executes continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality and cost objectives
- Supports and motivates teams to ensure timely, successful project delivery
- Provides training and coaching to sponsors and Kaizen leaders (as needed)
Qualifications:
- 6β10 years experience in Operational Excellence roles
- Bachelorβs degree required (preferred: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred/plus)
- Financial acumen; ability to assess project ROI
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
- Hands-on, proactive; capable of working independently with little oversight
