Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Management: Lead and manage teams to deliver large programs of at least $500MM USD or more in capital assets; safely achieve project objectives from front-end planning (conceptual design) through operational qualification (cradle to grave), ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Interface/Communication: Lead from a regional distance; maintain effective communication with GFD leadership, governance teams, business partners, and stakeholders; facilitate issue resolution and anticipate scope changes.
- Compliance: Use a disciplined, structured project management approach aligned with Company Policies and Procedures.
- Safety/Environment: Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans; ensure compliance from conceptual design through operational verification.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical related field (project management, construction management).
- 10+ years’ capital project delivery experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities (preferably leading projects/multiple projects > $100MM).
- Experience managing greenfield projects.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel outside of home state/country.

Additional Preferences
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, devices; to a lesser extent, lab projects).
- Experience with GMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, construction, construction quality, project controls, engineering disciplines, safety, and scheduling.
- Ability to achieve results and influence through people; work with little supervision from long distances.
- Effective written/verbal communication; ability to influence without direct administrative responsibility.
- Foreign language competency; PE (or equivalent); PMP certification; experience working/living outside the U.S.; embrace continuous improvement.

Additional Information
- International travel likely (~15%–30%), including weekends and multi-week stays.
- Full relocation required to Huntsville, AL; onsite presence required (not remote).
