Role Summary
Join Amgen’s mission to serve patients living with serious illnesses. As the Program Analyst, Product Security, you will memorialize and execute the Product Security Strategy, support response and remediation activities related to Brand Protection, Illicit Trade and Supply Chain Security, and collaborate across Amgen’s internal network to ensure the effectiveness and agility of the Product Security program.
Responsibilities
- Support the Product Security - Supply Chain Security scope, ensuring the safety of Amgen’s global product portfolio within the regulated supply chain.
- Support effective illicit trade and brand protection systems, processes, and tools.
- Support a cross-functional steering committee, including representatives from Global Security, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, and Corporate Audit.
- Own BP Alert and other complaint management processes relevant to Product Security.
- Lead documentation of strategies for threat monitoring, incident reporting and response, enforcement protocols, investigations, evidence management, testing and other key security functions.
- Leverage the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to support the Product Security – Supply Chain Security, Illicit Trade and Brand Protection programs.
- Provide Amgen leadership with metrics, KPIs, and reports to keep the business informed about emerging and ongoing threats to Amgen products.
- Create collateral to promote education and awareness of Product Security issues affecting Amgen, both internally and externally.
- Support security audits of vendors, suppliers, and business partners, both proactively and in response to specific concerns.
- Support activities related to the security audit program, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate efforts with other directorates within Global Security, both regional and functional.
Qualifications
- Required: Doctorate degree
- Required: Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry.
- Required: Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry.
- Experience: High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry.
- Preferred: Experience with supply chain security standards and programs (e.g., AEO, TAPA, CTPAT).
- Preferred: Experience with intelligence and targeting approaches.
- Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred: Familiarity with the creation of SOPs, ROI metrics.
- Preferred: Ability to exercise sound judgment and act swiftly.
- Preferred: Versatility to adapt to a dynamic threat landscape, manage details, and communicate effectively with leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Preferred: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to gather information and prepare clear, concise reports outlining issues, proposed solutions, and conclusions.
- Preferred: Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under pressure while maintaining sound judgment.
