Job Description
- Executes manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, primary and secondary packaging with oversight by Supervision.
- Sets up equipment for routine processes; identifies and resolves performance-related equipment issues while adhering to GMP guidelines to meet/exceed target OEE.
- Executes assigned jobs, maintains operating conditions within desired range, and communicates operational events/issues.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and assists in implementing changes (physical operations and written documents).
Responsibilities
- Proficient in team member responsibilities; knowledgeable of GMP policies and compliant with quality and safety standards.
- Works directly on the line executing scheduling priorities and production expectations; operates multiple unit operations; monitors process and communicates issues.
- Sets up, runs, blows, cleans, and clears equipment per BOP/Master batch record.
- Performs minor troubleshooting/repairs; completes in-process quality checks.
- Trains colleagues on equipment/process for which qualified.
- Follows Environmental Health & Safety procedures and participates in safety initiatives.
- Completes batch record steps following ALCOA and GMP; maintains an audit-ready area and adheres to regulations/policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical certificate/degree preferred; 2–3 years general manufacturing, preferably cGMP.
- Strong technical aptitude; troubleshoot and communicate issues; basic computer skills.
- Understanding of quality/compliance, HMI controls, vision inspection systems, and product serialization.
- Preferred: ability to train; experience with POMs, SAP, MAXIMO.
- Ability to stand 8–12 hours/day and lift up to 25 pounds.
