Role Summary
Production Technician I - Nights at AstraZeneca. This role involves operating processing equipment in a cGMP environment, following SOPs, and contributing to manufacturing operations within the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Operate processing equipment according to established SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs in accordance with cGMPs.
- Perform solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and formulation activities.
- Train with a qualified Technician on activities related to operating process equipment with the requirement of qualification.
- Follow and execute cGMP documentation and utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Contribute to problem-solving for non-routine activities on the production floor and participate in continuous improvement activities for Manufacturing.
- Adhere to company values and behaviors.
Qualifications
- Required: 0-1 years experience with High School Diploma; ability to work independently or collaboratively; ability to comply with cGMP standards; computer skills; ability to follow instructions and directions.
- Preferred: BS/BA degree; degree in STEM field; prior experience or exposure with aseptic/cGMP standards and environment.
Skills
- Ability to operate processing equipment per SOPs and cGMPs.
- Strong attention to documentation and MES usage.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
Education
- High School Diploma required; BS/BA degree preferred.
