Production Technician
Responsibilities:
- Setup/run/improve dispensing/compounding and filling processes.
- Train and certify new employees in dispensing/compounding and filling.
- Adhere to plant safety policies and procedures.
- Setup and operate highly automated equipment in the PFS (Pre-Filled Syringe) Suite.
- Follow SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure product quality.
- Provide customer-oriented service/support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation.
- Qualify for and maintain operation of assigned process equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of assigned equipment.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Monitor documentation/product quality and report issues to supervision.
- Support departmental objectives (safety, deviations, productivity, training compliance).
Qualifications / Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED + 5 years PFS manufacturing experience OR Associate degree + 4 years PFS manufacturing experience.
- High technical knowledge of GMP manufacturing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in PFS filling process operations.
- Knowledge of cGMPs.
- Preferred: experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Multitasking, attention to detail, independence, communication (written/verbal), problem-solving.
- Ability to train/coach others; lean manufacturing knowledge.
- Ability to wear PPE (safety glasses, shoes, gloves).
