Role Summary

As a Production Technician I at AstraZeneca, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in evolving our supply chain. You will be operating upstream / downstream / central services processing equipment according to established SOPs. Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment according to established SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs in accordance with cGMPs.
• Perform solution preparation, cell culture, purification and formulation, and supporting activities.
• Train with a qualified Technician on activities related to operating process equipment with the requirement of qualification.
• Follow and execute cGMP documentation, utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and participate in problem-solving activities for non-routine activities on the production floor.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for Manufacturing.
• Adhere to AstraZeneca values and behaviors.

Qualifications

• Required: 0-1 yrs experience with High School Diploma
• Required: Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others on assigned tasks
• Required: Ability to comply with cGMP standards
• Required: Must possess computer skills
• Required: Ability to follow instruction and directions
• Preferred: BS/BA degree
• Preferred: Degree in STEM field
• Preferred: Prior experience or exposure with aseptic/cGMP standards and environment

Skills

• Operation of processing equipment in a cGMP environment according to SOPs/MPRs/SPRs
• Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others
• Proficiency with computer systems and MES
• Ability to follow instructions and directions

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• BS/BA degree or degree in STEM field preferred
