Job Description POSITION OBJECTIVE: Effectively lead and organize production line complete customer order and ensure the products or subassemblies meet quality and delivery requirements; Manage their team in achieving quality and efficiency improvement; Support new product introduction or product transfer project; Involve and lead team towards lean culture development and digital transformation. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Establishes and/or implements functional business plans and project objectives to meet the short- and long- term goals of the production organization. Manages employees and manage production lines that may have various manufacturing processes. May manage the new product introduction (NPI) process, including prototype build and ramping of the new product to volume production. Accountable for key metrics, which may include revenue and shipment, customer satisfaction and quality goals. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Operation: Manage and balance workforce. Design production capacity. Arrange and Implement production plan to meet shipment requirement and ensure products’ quality. Manage inventory in production line includes parts and WIP. Create and review products routing, determine raw material pull into line method and setting in SAP. Design production capacity and conduct regular review. Process improvement: Manage and continue improve production process to enhance the quality and maximize the production efficiency and productivity with lean concept and digital mindset. People management and development: Recruit, select, appraises performance, and administers salaries of reporting employees; create training plan and development plan for employees; determine assignments and change employee status in accordance with personnel policy of company. Business goal support: Understand business strategic priorities; participate and implement business plan of production line to support the realization of goals and tactical plans of company. New products support: Create production department plan, prototype build plan and organize the building to make sure the project is in schedule. Set up new production line with lean manufacturing towards smart line design requirement. Work environment: Manage processes to ensure a safe, clean and orderly work environment in production line. Budget: Establish budget and targets and control its implementation for assigned area of responsibility. Qualifications At least has Associate Degree or equivalent education plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing. Preferred to have team lead experience. Requires good management skills and ability to design and execute processes. Knowledge of CI/ lean manufacturing / digital transformation to improve operation process. Be sensitive to data and details. Ability of effective communication and conflict solving skill. Ability of lead and coach skill to develop people; to encourage and recognize development and improvement. Ability to work with peers, partners, others and actively engage in collaborative behavior. Good English skill of reading, verbal and writing. Experience on project management and/or DG management experience is a plus. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
