The Production Specialist I will work in a high performing and fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing operation with a focus on safety and quality. Supports setup, changeover, and packaging of pharmaceutical products. Builds a team environment and drives excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and guidelines; use AbbVie approved tools to minimize extraneous matter.
- Perform housekeeping cleans; complete line clearances for lot/list changes; blow down finishing line/equipment on 1–2 value stream(s).
- Assist in setup of automated equipment in primary or secondary packaging within 1–2 value stream(s).
- Service and operate automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment to produce finished product with minimal supervision.
- Perform quality-impactful tasks: challenges, parameters, pulling samples, in-process checks, bulk/commodity accountability.
- Sustain 6S of parts and tooling across the production floor.
- Escalate higher level safety, quality, technical and operating issues timely.
- Communicate and drive improvement opportunities through cross-functional teams; work with production schedule and line priorities.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and make minor adjustments to improve efficiencies.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude preferred.
- Technical certificate or degree preferred.
- Demonstrated focus on quality and compliance with site policies/procedures.
- Ability to communicate issues to engineering and mechanical teams.
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn new programs/applications.
- Understanding/experience with POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO preferred.
- Knowledge of related cGMP requirements/procedures preferred.
- Stand up to 8–12 hours/day; lift up to 25 pounds.
- Work 40–48 hours/week; may work up to 60 hours depending on manufacturing demands.
