This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Supervisor, Production Management, is primarily responsible for leading team members to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes. You will manage production activities, liaise with departments to develop schedules, and drive continuous improvement. Specifics include: • Oversee team members to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes • Manage production activities, including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging • Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate resources • Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions • Lead or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement • Assure a safe work environment, develop pipeline talent, and foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management and driving talent development • Ensure positive associate relations, enhance engagement, recognize achievements, and drive a strong safety culture • Make day-to-day decisions affecting team members and impacting daily operations and efficiency • Ensure all associates adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GxP) regulations, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain documentation, and complete required training • Meet individual job requirements and contribute to overall compliance and continuous improvement What Can You Bring to Alcon: Degree in Science or Engineering Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in the medical or pharmaceutical industry Strong command of English (spoken and written) Proven leadership skills, preferably managing team shifts Hands-on experience in leading and managing daily production operations Strong problem-solving and investigative skills Proficiency in SAP is a plus ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
