Production Scheduler, Gas Phase Operations

Role: The Production Scheduler manages manufacturing schedules to optimize resource utilization, ensuring reliable production aligned with demand and site capacity. Responsibilities include developing detailed schedules, sequencing manufacturing orders, monitoring production status, and adjusting plans for changing priorities or constraints. The role requires close collaboration with supply chain, engineering, quality, and operations teams to support product transfers, new introductions, and capacity expansions. It involves managing capacity constraints, assessing impacts of resource shortages, and driving corrective actions to maintain delivery commitments. The scheduler tracks operational performance, identifies recurring issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and schedule stability. Daily factory support includes rapid decision-making and balancing priorities to meet customer and operational goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field, with 3-7 years of experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or supply chain, preferably within regulated environments such as biopharma, diagnostics, or analytical instrumentation. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools is required. Preferred skills include experience with capacity planning, finite scheduling, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence principles. The role is full-time, day shift, with occasional travel and is embedded within a regulated manufacturing setting, emphasizing collaboration across cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and product delivery.
