Scope of the Role (Production Operator)
- Operate production equipment; monitor production processes and line operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow plant safety rules (LOTO procedures, PPE, etc.); report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Follow factory safety and environmental objectives/targets.
- Follow factory food safety and quality objectives/targets.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality issues immediately.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Quality Management System on related procedures.
- Understand food safety/quality aspects per the Quality Management System, on-the-job training, and SOPs.
- Apply continuous improvement principles in the work area.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience strongly preferred (or equivalent training/education).
- High school diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- 2β3 years in a regulated manufacturing environment (Food, Bev, Pharma, CPG, etc.).
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Computer skills from work experience.
- Willingness to work off shifts and overtime as needed.
- Improvement mindset; problem solving/critical thinking.
- Reliable attendance.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Forklift experience.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- $27.00/hour + $2.00 shift premium; comprehensive benefits incl. Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K matching, quarterly bonus, Life/AD&D, short/long-term disability, PTO after 90-day probation; $2,500 sign-on bonus and base pay increase after 90-day probation.
