Role Summary
Provide leadership, oversight, training, and guidance to Operations Packaging technicians during set up activities and vertical start-up. Focus on efficient, quality-driven mechanical setups.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, Training and guidance while performing set up activities.
- Provide intermediate frontline troubleshooting while coming out of setups and during schedule operations.
- Intermediate level Antares and other vision systems.
- Participates in major asset rebuilds with Maintenance and Vendors.
- Independently perform low level Maintenance PMs. Assist with Maintenance tasks including but not limited to PMs, troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilds of tooling, capper chucks, HAPA and other packaging equipment.
- Participates during Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis.
- Accurately documents all work hours and all Maintenance/Setup activities in CMMS (Maximo).
- Conforms with requirements outlined in the MEP program.
- Ability to complete full setups and train others on multiple value streams (Blister, bottle, or syringe).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechanical certificate preferred or a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industry related field. Knowledge and ability to apply proper hand tools in an industrial setting.
- Proficient in MAXIMO and POMS.
- Knowledge of packaging equipment and set up tooling.
- Knowledge of related cGMP requirements and applicable safety regulations.
- Ability to accurately use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, scales).
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
- Leadership qualities with emphasis on motivating others on a cross functional team.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
