Job Description
Provide leadership, oversight, training, and guidance to Operations Packaging technicians during set up activities and to achieve vertical start-up. Focus on efficient, quality-driven mechanical setups.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance while performing set up activities
- Provide intermediate frontline troubleshooting during setup and scheduled operations
- Perform intermediate Antares and other vision system work
- Participate in major asset rebuilds with Maintenance and Vendors
- Independently perform low-level Maintenance PMs; assist with maintenance tasks including PMs, troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilds of tooling, capper chucks, HAPA, and other packaging equipment
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis
- Document work hours and Maintenance/Setup activities in CMMS (Maximo)
- Conform to requirements outlined in the MEP program
- Complete full setups and train others across multiple value streams (blister, bottle, or syringe)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical certificate required or at least 2 years of industry-related experience
- Ability to apply proper hand tools in an industrial setting
- Proficient in MAXIMO and POMS
- Knowledge of packaging equipment and setup tooling
- Knowledge of related cGMP requirements and applicable safety regulations
- Ability to accurately use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, scales)
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
- Leadership qualities and strong troubleshooting skills
