      Role Summary
 Production Associate I - Cell Culture (Sunday-Thursday) is an entry-level manufacturing role focused on producing HEP & HDF cells in a level 10,000 clean room environment under supervision, with responsibilities including spinner preparation, seeding, maintaining, and harvesting cells, as well as assisting in cell banking as required.
 
 Responsibilities
 
  - Manufacture cells according to established MBRs and OPs
 
  - Adhere to all OPs, protocols, policies, regulatory requirements, GMP, and safety guidelines
 
  - Ensure cell culture paperwork is complete and compliant with all protocols
 
  - Operate clean room equipment properly
 
  - Maintain required records and adhere to QC procedures, GMPs, and safety guidelines
 
  - Assist in developing, collecting, trending, and analyzing cell culture technical data
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
  - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Biology or related science strongly preferred. A Certificate or A.S. in Biotechnology with 3-5 years' relevant experience will be considered
 
  - Direct experience with cell banking, cell culture, and/or fermentation highly desired
 
  - Prior experience in general lab techniques including aseptic technique, cGMP and clean room protocols is desired
 
  - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
 
  - Aseptic technique, basic lab techniques (pipettes, balances, etc.)
 
  - Physically capable of remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
 
  - Strong communication skills and ability to exchange information effectively
 
  - Attention to accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work

 Education
 
  - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Biology or related science preferred; Biotechnology certification or AS with relevant experience considered
 
 
 
 Additional Requirements
 
  - Medium work with moving objects up to 50 lbs
 
  - Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods
