Role Summary
Product Marketing Manager for the Advanced Cell Systems portfolio within Bio-Techne's Reagents Solutions Division. The role focuses on increasing market share for both new and existing products in the proteins portfolio, through high-growth go-to-market, multi-channel, full funnel marketing plans to raise awareness and drive conversion in key life science segments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and execute high-impact go-to-market programs to drive revenue growth for the Proteins portfolio in key customer segments such as academia, biotech, pharma, immunology, immune cell therapy, and regenerative medicine.
- Lead development and execution of strategic multi-channel integrated marketing plans to acquire and convert new customers and engage, retain, and grow existing customers.
- Collaborate with product management and scientific applications teams to develop and promote high-value portfolio-specific content across the marketing funnel (brochures, webpages, webinars, posters, sales tools).
- Be the global product and market expert, providing in-depth knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and critical success factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align marketing plans for new products and on-market improvements.
- Formulate and implement portfolio-level marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and demand generation.
- Maintain campaign KPI dashboards and report on effectiveness; adjust tactics to maximize performance.
- Manage marketing budgets and optimize promotional mix to achieve high ROI.
- Develop and deliver product launch toolkits with messaging, training, positioning, and customer materials for commercial teams.
- Attend and support industry conferences and tradeshows to generate leads and identify opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- 5-8 years in the life sciences industry with at least 4 years in a product marketing function.
Skills
- Ability to articulate the value of Bio-Techne products to life science researchers.
- Ability to synthesize insights across customers, competitors, and markets to inform programs.
- Excellent content development and understanding of customer journeys and content marketing.
- Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel, customer-centric marketing programs.
- Experience in demand generation using multi-channel strategies, especially digital marketing and web-driven journeys.
- Understanding of NPI commercialization and launching new products.
- Experience training commercial teams and creating compelling promotional content.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-growing, collaborative environment; strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Education
