Position Responsibilities:
Product Manager, Global Medical Affairs Business Insights & Technology (BI&T) - Scientific Content & Publications accountable for product management and delivery of BI&T capabilities/services supporting Global Medical Affairs Medical Communications teams. Partners with stakeholders to define and drive digital capabilities in Scientific Content and Publications, including: content usage/value metrics, componentized and AI-generated content, content localization, publications management, and integration of content/publications data into workflows. Leads and accelerates Medical digitization via technology innovation; ensures information capabilities/operations are reliable, accessible, and secure; drives adoption through partnerships.

Provide Domain Leadership:
- Owns technology roadmap; develops multi-year digital capability roadmaps with business process owners and analytics counterparts; prioritizes portfolio and execution; understands informing/generated data.
- Develops business cases; defines/measures/achieves outcomes for highest value at lowest cost.
- Brings external view on technology trends.
- Translates business needs into requirements; identifies differentiation opportunities and β€œfit for purpose.”

Provide Strategic Leadership:
- Partners with senior Medical Affairs leaders; thought leader/trusted advisor.
- Builds relationships and manages business partnerships during execution.
- Enables change adoption (release/cutover planning, impact inputs, communications/training, hypercare/support readiness).

Matrix Portfolio Execution:
- Leads via matrix, empowers delivery teams, advocates for value/trade-offs, communicates clearly, and removes roadblocks.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA strongly preferred.
- Strong BI&T domain expertise in Medical Affairs (Publications, Scientific Content Management).
- 7–10 years in pharma IT for Medical Affairs or Commercial.
- Proven analysis of complex/ambiguous needs into strategic plans/business cases with global reach.
- Experience driving digital capabilities for superior customer experience.
- Commitment to apply AI/new technologies in Medical Affairs.
- Large-scale application deployment experience with software/consulting partners.
- Experience with enterprise BI&T platforms (Veeva Vault MedComms, iEnvision).
- Agile methodologies applied to SDLC/IT services.
- Enterprise-minded ability to connect Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Clinical Development.
- Self-starter; strong line/matrix management; innovation/continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, presentation; network of external advisors/resources.
