Vericel Burn Care Product Marketing Manager

Position Summary

The Vericel Burn Care Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the growth and market leadership of our burn care franchise. This role will be responsible for developing and executing HCP marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial performance across burn centers and hospitals.

Schedule

This position is in-office from Monday – Thursday in our new Burlington, MA location, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Position Scope

Strategic Marketing

  • Lead key brand initiatives and programs to optimize brand performance.
  • Develop deep understanding of the product portfolio, including competitive landscapes, sales processes, and market forces which will contribute to long term strategic brand planning.
  • Responsible for strategic and tactical implementation of product marketing plans to ensure optimal business results.
  • Management of national and regional conferences strategy and sponsorship execution.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Partner with sales and medical teams to identify, engage and partner with burn care key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Lead the development of promotional campaigns, educational content, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Support and manage conference planning, speaker programs, and peer-to-peer engagement activities.

Sales Enablement

  • Create and maintain sales tools, training materials, and messaging guides to support field execution.
  • Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to refine messaging and tactics.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Refresh and manage product positioning, messaging, and differentiation throughout phases of product lifecycle.

Budgets & Timing

  • Allocate resources and manage multi-million dollar annual brand budget.
  • Monitor progress of program and report effectively to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting or managing in pharmaceutical, biotech, consulting or similarly regulated industry.
  • Experience in burn care, wound care, cell therapy or rare disease therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Veeva Promo Mats and Medical/Legal/Regulatory review processes.
  • Strong technical/analytical skills to identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to develop analysis and presentations with standard tools (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; strong time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to interface with all levels of management and multiple departments.
  • Track record for completing assignments on-time and on-budget.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with experience incorporating diverse perspectives into project decision-making.
  • Entrepreneurial with a bias toward action; resourceful, tenacious and results oriented. Enjoys working in a fast-paced, small-company environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Burn, wound, cell therapy or rare disease experience.
  • Experience developing market/product forecasting based on market research output.
