Role Summary
Product Marketing Manager for Vericel Burn Care, responsible for growth and market leadership of the burn care franchise, developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial performance across burn centers and hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing
- Lead key brand initiatives and programs to optimize brand performance.
- Develop deep understanding of the product portfolio, competitive landscapes, sales processes, and market forces for long-term brand planning.
- Strategic and tactical implementation of product marketing plans to ensure optimal business results.
- Manage national and regional conferences strategy and sponsorship execution.
- Customer & Market Engagement
- Partner with sales and medical teams to identify, engage and partner with burn care KOLs.
- Lead development of promotional campaigns, educational content, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Support and manage conference planning, speaker programs, and peer-to-peer engagement activities.
- Sales Enablement
- Create and maintain sales tools, training materials, and messaging guides.
- Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to refine messaging and tactics.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Refresh and manage product positioning, messaging, and differentiation across lifecycle phases.
- Budgets & Timing
- Allocate resources and manage multi-million dollar annual brand budget.
- Monitor progress of programs and report to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, consulting or similarly regulated industry.
- Experience in burn care, wound care, cell therapy or rare disease therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
- Experience with Veeva Promo Mats and Medical/Legal/Regulatory review processes.
- Strong technical/analytical skills; ability to develop analyses and presentations with standard tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; strong time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of management and multiple departments.
- Track record for completing assignments on-time and on-budget.
- Collaborative with diverse perspectives; entrepreneurial with bias toward action; comfortable in a fast-paced, small-company environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Burn, wound, cell therapy or rare disease experience.
- Experience developing market/product forecasting based on market research output.
