Position Responsibilities:
- Drive the end-to-end product design process from initial concept through final implementation (user research, competitive analysis, wireframing, conceptual design, user flow definition, information architecture, interactive prototyping, user testing, UX writing, and visual design).
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Customer Experience & Support, and other departments to align business objectives with user needs and deliver design solutions.
- Develop and drive adherence to a user research, design, and testing framework, including continuous insight gathering, usability testing, and design documentation (personas, journey maps, design specifications) to support handoff to product development.
- Establish and maintain expertise in industry trends and best practices; champion user-centered design principles.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of UX Design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Design, Human Factors, HCI, Psychology, or similar.
- Proven experience leading user research/design projects and managing teams with cross-collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design, consumer behavior/psychology, user research, and iterative testing.
- Ability to present and defend user flows and design choices based on research.
- Ability to lead customer user research/testing to generate unbiased feedback.
- Proficiency designing for web, mobile web, native apps, and complex online platforms.
- Empathy for users; advocate for user needs.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design/productivity tools (e.g., generative AI, AI-assisted prototyping, research synthesis).
- Commitment to inclusive, accessible design.
Technical Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Figma (or Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) preferred.
- Primary/secondary UX research techniques.
- Experience with Confluence and Jira.
