Purpose:
The Procurement Specialist I is responsible for executing end-to-end procurement processes in alignment with business goals and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and contributing to supplier diversity and sustainability. The role executes tactical supplier performance management, implements continuous improvement projects, and drives day-to-day supplier excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end Tactical Supplier Performance Management, ensuring contract compliance, invoice validation, and supplier performance evaluation with accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
- Review supplier contracts to confirm deliverables, pricing, schedules, and contractual obligations are met.
- Validate supplier invoices against approved contract terms, quantities, timeframes, and deliverables; authorize payments only after verification; resolve disputes/errors.
- Measure and monitor supplier performance using agreed KPIs; participate in performance review meetings; track follow-up actions to closure.
- Provide data analysis and administrative support (supplier metrics/research, master data, monthly/quarterly reporting).
- Execute continuous improvement projects in procurement operations.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests, performance analyses, and reporting needs.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the Procurement team.
- Enable team goals to deliver performance targets and objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Required).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or related operations/business function (Required).
- Strong attention to detail (Required).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook).
- Innovative problem-solving with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
- Ability to lead communication with team members, stakeholders, management, and suppliers.
- Strong work ethic; maintain performance in challenging situations and build consensus.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry (Preferred).
