MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provide strong support to the Procurement team, internal stakeholders, and suppliers, owning contract and category management to ensure compliance with established processes. Drive sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations to deliver optimal value from 3rd-party spend. Manage a team of Procurement Specialists to ensure timely, accurate, and complete operational workload and maintain business continuity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead contact for assigned functions/stakeholders/suppliers; provide negotiation, contract management, and procurement process expertise
- Create, negotiate, and finalize contractual documents (MSAs, Work Orders, Change Orders) using pre-approved templates
- Lead RFPs; ensure Procurement input and sourcing process are followed to select best-value proposals and communicate consistently
- Manage Procurement Specialist team (2)
- Collaborate on sourcing strategies (leverage spend through fewer sources)
- Contribute to corporate savings pipeline by identifying and driving efficiency projects
- Engage stakeholders to anticipate contract requirements and progress contract/PO execution
- Anticipate and mitigate supply/supplier sourcing risks
- Support Procurement Specialists with systems knowledge; educate and coach on process steps
- Develop proficiency in Netsuite (ERP) and Agiloft (Contract Management)
- Enhance Procurement infrastructure (including AI/technology)
- Drive process efficiency opportunities; advocate compliance initiatives and contract process enhancements
- Model corporate policies/procedures and adhere to compliance requirements

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
- Procurement experience (Global Category or Procurement Manager level)
- Experience negotiating with global suppliers; influencing geographically dispersed stakeholders
- Experience with international companies (ideally US & UK)
- Line management experience; ability to pivot in fast-paced environments
- Continuous improvement mindset; technology leverage in process transformation
- Credibility with management/external stakeholders; leading strategic sourcing cross-functionally
- Proactive process-improvement ownership; prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent communication; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desirable:
- Experience with Agiloft and/or Netsuite
- Life Sciences or Healthcare industry experience
