Procurement Buyer, Expert(Hybrid)

Role: Experienced Procurement Buyer leading strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement activities to support manufacturing operations. Primary objectives include ensuring supply continuity, optimizing costs, managing supplier performance, and facilitating new product introductions. Responsibilities encompass managing procurement for manufacturing materials, negotiating contracts, building supplier relationships, driving supply chain improvements, and supporting global sourcing initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; over 8 years of procurement, sourcing, or manufacturing purchasing experience; proficiency with ERP and procurement tools; strong stakeholder management skills. Preferred: Master's degree, procurement certifications (CPSM, CPM, CSCP, APICS), experience in regulated manufacturing environments, and a track record of procurement improvement initiatives. High-Value: Manufacturing focus with support for NPI programs, collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and global teams. Work setup: Hybrid model requiring onsite presence in California three days per week; no travel expected.
