Role Summary

Part of the Louvain-la-Neuve procurement team, you will manage procurement master data and will support the site procurement team on specific procurement categories and initiatives as required. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to drive cost savings and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cost reduction initiative
  • Coordinate projects to qualify new suppliers and materials
  • Support the timely delivery of parts and materials, ensuring they meet standards (Quality, Cost and OTIF)
  • Oversee and enhance our supplier partnership
  • Maintain accurate procurement data and master records
  • Manage procurement information in SAP and other internal databases, including supplier details, pricing, delivery times, and product specifications
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to support project execution that impacts the site
  • Source new products and support internal stakeholder for qualification
  • Gather and analyze statistical data to assess the feasibility of purchasing materials and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and competitive bids, review supplier proposals, and negotiate prices and terms
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal customers to resolve any quality, process, or supply issues
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collectively with the procurement team, other enabling functions, and other manufacturing; serves as the external liaison to suppliers

Qualifications

  • A 2 years' experience in procurement or supply chain
  • A good understanding of the Manufacturing environment

Skills

  • Business English
  • Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
  • Able to work effectively on a fast-paced team in a professional environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Experienced in data analysis using Excel strongly preferred
  • Good SAP Procurement system experience strongly preferred

Education

  • Master's degree in business or sciences
