Process Technician - Formulation/Filling/Material Prep (Day Shift)

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate highly automated equipment used to fill syringes.
- Model current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Learn formulation operation initially, then transition into Filling or Material Prep operator role based on department needs.
Key Objectives:
- Adhere to RTP Plant safety policies/procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures and current GMPs to ensure product quality.
- Support leadership on the manufacturing floor by maintaining safety, quality, and productivity; monitor documentation and product quality; document activities and report issues.
- Support troubleshooting and serve as a reliable point of contact for issue escalation.
- Assist Supervisor with development and training of shift operators.
- Improve departmental objectives: safety performance, reduce deviations, improve productivity, and training compliance.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work day shift on a rotational schedule between workdays (2-2-3).
- Ability to work overtime.
- Wear safety equipment (safety glasses, shoes, protective gloves, etc.).
- Work extended periods in a restricted/classified clean room environment.
- Learn quickly and apply new knowledge per governing procedures.
- Effective written/verbal communication; flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (desktop software).
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; no visa sponsorship/support.
Preferred Skills:
- Scientific/technical degree or certifications.
- Knowledge of CGMPs.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
- Experience with solution filling equipment and/or isolator technology.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Anticipated wage: $17.30 - $34.38.
